I observed that sugar looks like cubes but that salt has different geometric shapes like cubes, diamonds and triangles and some were bigger than others. The jelly crystals were cubes but were smaller than the sugar crystals. Sand was brown and had pieces of all different sizes and shapes. The silica cat litter had very large, clear crystals with irregular shapes. And the Harpic Toilet cleaner had round, white crystals that were not clear.
In the dissolving experiment I saw that the jelly crystals in the hot water dissolved better than the jelly crystals in the cold water.
