In lesson 4 I discovered that soluble substances can dissolve in water. This is because the bonds are weak so they break apart easily and dissolve. The purple crystal is a soluble substance.
The white model has a strong bond and can't break away easily and dissolve. The white crystal is an insoluble substance.
