After Mr Dredge said yesterday about rare crystals being more expensive and are often used on jewellery I looked at my mums rings and she told me what sort of crystals were on hers. I thought about what were some of the crystals I knew and looked for photos of some of the most common jewellery crystals. I found sapphire, ruby, emerald and diamond. The main type of sapphires are dark blue, ruby's are red, emeralds are green and diamonds are clear but all of the crystals can come in different colours depending on where they formed in the earth.
