After doing the lesson 1 experiment I was really interested in crystals. I discovered that crystals can occur naturally in the environment or can be man made. So Meg and I went to find some crystals outside on our station. We walked around and found some in my rock pile. We found 4 different types of rocks that had small crystals in them. Meg said that was probably quartz. I have some pictures of the crystals displayed on my blog we took the pictures with my
microscope.
