Tom10 Solids in a Liquid
There are different factors which influence what happens when you mix solid in a liquid.
Some of these factors are:
-what the solid is eg. rock, ice, metal
-the weight and texture of the solid eg. glitter, rock
-what the liquid is eg. acid, water, oil
-what the temperature of the liquid is eg. lava lamp (I couldn't label the images but I am demonstrating the difference between cold liquid and warm liquid)

Excellent work, Tom. I'm glad that you are thinking beyond just the work that we are doing. Remember to record your thoughts in your Digital Science Journal.
Cool Tom, but what are you using in the photo?
Hi Tania,
It is a lava lamp.
Tom
